As an In-Home Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for attending pre-set scheduled appointments with homeowners and educating them on the benefits of solar energy. The ideal candidate for this position will have a trainable and coachable attitude, a drive to succeed, and a passion for renewable energy. The In-Home Solar Consultant must be willing to work nights and weekends to accommodate the homeowner's schedule.Responsibilities:Attend pre-set scheduled appointments with homeowners and educate them on the benefits of solar energyAnswer any questions and concerns homeowners may have about solar powerLead homeowners through the sales process, building trust and closing the saleBuild and maintain a network of customers through referrals and networkingAttend regular meetings and trainings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and sales techniquesRequired Skills and Experience:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build rapport and establish trust with potential clientsTop-notch project management skillsMust be trainable and coachableMust have a drive to succeedWilling to work nights and weekendsSales experience heavily preferred, but not requiredPerks:Base pay plus commissionUnlimited commission potential with no capW2 position with benefits (health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k)No prospecting!
