Main Duties & Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the maintenance of all buildings and their
surrounding grounds. Responsible for the maintenance of all
facility services including water treatment, steam system, solar
system, and HVAC systems.
? Oversee work performed by outside vendors such as HVAC,
electricians, plumbers, carpenters, landscaping, snow removal,
specialized cleaning, and other trade services as required.
? Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on both
manufacturing and building equipment as required.
? Troubleshoot and perform minor reactive repairs to the building
structure, plumbing fixtures, HVAC system, steam system, and other
facility services as required.
? Assist with maintaining building security and emergency response
services. Immediately respond to building emergencies at the
direction of management.
? Modify and/or fabricate auxiliary equipment to support and
improve the production process.
? Prepare facility services for the installation of new
equipment.
? Track and report energy consumption on a monthly basis.
(electric, gas, & water) ? Track and maintain chemical inventories
for hazard notification, reporting requirements and Material Safety
Data Sheet system updates
? Assist with the implementation of corrective actions related to
continuous improvement projects and all safety initiatives
? Perform janitorial tasks and snow removal as needed.
? Member of Safety Committee
Qualification Requirements:
? 2 plus years of broad experience in the facility services field
in an Industrial setting. Preferable in a manufacturing
environment.
? Experience managing vendor relationships, sourcing quotes for
projects, and overseeing facility services projects.
? Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in
English
? Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
