Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Machine Millwright  Responsible for troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical and pneumatically controlled production equipment. Working from blueprints, schematics, diagrams and manufacturers documentation you will be responsible for identifying malfunctions and isolating defective parts or components, removing defective items and replacing with new or reworked components. Assist in installation, start up and debugging of new production equipment. Fabricate tools and fixtures using machine shop tools such as a lathe and milling machines. Provide preventative maintenance for all production equipment. Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory. Work with other team members as needs/issues arise in support of quality and productivity objectives and improvements. Support CMMS System to track parts, time, and equipment history.  - Must have 3 years experience in industrial equipment repair.  - Demonstrated ability to install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain machinery and equipment  - Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings  - Ability to dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators, using hand and power tools  - Ability to operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and tractors  - Ability to inspect machinery and equipment to identify irregularities, and malfunctions  - Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, and pneumatic systems  - Must have basic knowledge of electronic controls  - Must have working knowledge of general safe work practices  - Must pass all Health Services testing requirement for this position.  - Years of service, attendance and disciplinary history will be taken into consideration  - Experience working with Machine tools such as lathes and grinders  - Experience in working with computerized maintenance systems  - Advanced knowledge of safe work practices including Lock-out/Tag-out  - Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's including I/O's    ID: 594011  Type: Contract  Salary: open - provided by Dice Mechanical, PLC, Testing
