Job Description:
NEW BEDFORD, MA - We are looking to onboard passionate and
motivated Master's level Clinicians for our Emergency Services
Program located at our Church Street office. Emergency Services
(ES) is an exciting and challenging program. These are great
positions for recent Master's level graduates looking to hone their
skills or the seasoned veteran looking for a challenge. ES
Clinicians are hourly employees with an hourly base rate, plus
competitive shift differentials. There are great incentives for
overtime and holiday pay! $2,000 Sign On Bonus for Full-Time (half
at hire; half at 90-day anniversary) prorated to $1,000 for
part-time 20+ hours/week only Available Schedules: (3) FULL TIME
2ND SHIFT 7 DAYS A WEEK 1 person Monday-Friday 12-8 1 person Sunday
through Thursday 1 person Tuesday-Saturday (2) FT 1ST SHIFT 7 DAYS
A WEEK 1 person Tuesday-Saturday 7-3 1 person Sunday through
Thursday 8-4 (1) FT THIRD SHIFT Sun - Th OR Tues - Sat 11 pm - 7am
We can offer 5 hour shifts (minimum) if needed and accommodate for
varying days- Please inquire with the recruiter for more
information! Differentials: SATURDAY-SUNDAY 1ST SHIFT +
$2.50/HOURMONDAY-FRIDAY 2ND SHIFT + $1.50/HOURSATURDAY & SUNDAY 2ND
SHIFT + $4.00/HOURSUNDAY-THURSDAY 3RD SHIFT + $5.00/HOURFRIDAY &
SATURDAY 3RD SHIFT +7.50/HOUR Incentives - $100 per each mobile
case split: 2 Person Team - $35 for the Clinician - $70 if
Clinician goes out alone Qualifications Masters degree in mental
health counseling, social work, psychology or related field Must be
licensed or license eligible (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LADC-1) Experience
with computers, specifically electronic health records systems
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
Responsibilities _The following responsibilities are not meant to
be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency's needs._
Complete intake data form by telephone or in person either on site
or at outreach locations Confirm health care coverage Conduct
comprehensive mental health status exam utilizing an
admissions/screening instrument which includes providing a
diagnosis in accordance with the DSM V Telephone screening and
consultations Understanding of different treatment modalities that
can be applied to stabilize clients in their home and prevent
hospitalization Consult with clinic director/administrator on call
and or consulting psychiatrist prior to disposition plan to include
outpatient services, hospitalization or hospital diversion
Participate in regularly scheduled clinical supervision, staff
meetings, staff development and training curriculum Cultural
Competency Qualifications Awareness of personal attitudes, beliefs,
biases, and assumptions about others Knowledge of the various
dimensions of diversity, including gender, race, and ethnicity
Acknowledging that people from other cultural groups may not share
the same beliefs and practices or perceive experiences in the same
way Cultural knowledge of key populations that will be served to
address disparities in service delivery Demonstrates positive
attitudes towards cultural differences by showing respect and
openness towards people whose social and cultural background is
different from one's own Demonstrates skills for communication and
interaction across cultures, including the ability to recognize and
manage personal behaviors, moods, and impulses to create an
inclusive, equitable, and welcoming climate within the agency
