Duties are: involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed. ***UP TO $9,000 NEW HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS*** (Details Below)

• Hours: 24hrs
• Shift: Day Shift; Varied 8 hour shifts starting at 7, 8 or 830am; Call required on rotation with other RN's weekday, weekend, major and minor holidays
• Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA
  Education and/or Experience Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • 1 + years of hospital RN experience required.
  • Endoscopy experience preferred but will train for role.
  • Must have ACLS will at times be doing moderate sedation
    Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.***SIGN-ON DETAILS***

    • $9,000 with a minimum 3+ years of Endoscopy nursing experience.
    • $7,200 with 1+ years of Endoscopy nursing experience.
    • $6,000 with less than 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience OR 1+ years of hospital RN experience.
    • Must be a new hire OR a rehire termed greater than 1 year to be eligible
