Will require drivingWe are searching for a Bereavement Assistant to perform diversified duties in support of bereavement services for the Hospice Program, including but not limited to bereavement assessments, planning and directing bereavement activities, presenting bereavement education programs and assisting with the execution of Camp Angel Wings.Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in a related field (e.g. counseling, pastoral care, social work), or the equivalent knowledge and experience are required.
• Over three months of related experience, up to and including one year, is required.
• Minimum of one to three years of clinical experience in the area of loss, grief and bereavement is preferred.
• Experience in the facilitation of support groups preferred. Group experience and Bereavement/Spiritual Care Support preferred
• Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills as well as proficiency in computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records program.
  Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and seasonal Influenza.
