Because we have some of the most talented people in the world!We are searching for an Applications Design Lead- Epic to perform a wide variety of duties pertaining to the overseeing of major and minor projects, teams, committees, and task forces. Project oversight and system build activities for new application/module implementations. Responsible for definition, project planning, time line scheduling, etc. Work in conjunction with other members of the MIS and operations departments including the Enterprise Project Management Office as needed, on projects relating to new application implementations and/or optimizing existing applications. Provide functional and technical supervision over assigned personnel and activities where supervisory responsibility is limited to occasional direction, guidance, explanation, etc. Position reports to the Manager of Inpatient Applications.

• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Day shift; 8:00am-4:30pm
• Location: Southcoast Business Center - Fairhaven, MA
  Education and/or Experience Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or combination of equivalent education.
  • Experience with Hospital Information system applications such as Physician Documentation, CPOE, Physician encounter coding, Provider workload management, Medication Reconciliation, Prescription Writing and other physician related software applications required.
  • Position requires the ability to work with end users and define customer requirements.
  • Over five years of related work experience is required; prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior project management and Lean/Six Sigma experience highly desirable.
  • Must obtain Epic certification in two or more applications.
    Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and seasonal Influenza.
