Nursing team. Maplewood at Mayflower Place Campus is Cape
Cod’s only full service continuing care retirement community,
located in West Yarmouth. We offer independent living, assisted

Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate & direct the
nursing department programs and activities in accordance with
current local, state and federal guidelines governing long term
care. Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that
govern the day to day operations.
Develop annual nursing operational budget and manage
performance against budget.
Develop and maintain an ongoing Quality improvement program for
the nursing department services regarding quality measures,
resident satisfaction surveys and any state and federal
Works collaboratively with HIM personnel regarding medical
records and encourages physician compliance within the medical
records in accordance with State & Federal regulations.
Supervises nursing purchasing department personnel and ensures
appropriate par level of supplies is maintained.
Supervises Staff Development personnel and ensure that required
orientation is completed on new hires and mandatory in-service
education is provided to all departments. Interviews, hires,
schedules, evaluates, provides performance improvement and
discharges nursing personal as needed. Maintain/create
department job descriptions.
Supervises the MDS and MMQ nurses ensuring that the MMQ’s,
MDS’, and care planning process is in compliance.
Makes daily rounds to ensure that nursing personnel are
performing their work assignments, providing appropriate care and
are maintaining a neat and sanitary living environment for the

Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered RN license to
