Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Account Manager is a strategic member of the division's commercial team, providing sales, marketing and business development expertise to drive growth in the assigned book of business. Working closely with all team members, this individual is responsible for executing on the sales and marketing strategy to drive high performance in the areas of Strategic Account Management, Business Development, NBDP and SoW Growth, Customer Service, Price Realization and Voice of the Customer (VOC).

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain customer records by updating account information.
  • Monitors and expedites all customer quotations requested by existing or potential customers.
  • Liaison between customer requests and production activities to provide manufacturing lead times and updates accordingly.
  • Perform contract review on all P.O.'s to ensure compliance.
  • Receives, processes, and acknowledges customer orders/change orders
  • Responsible for new customer account generation
  • Assists Finance in credit/invoicing resolution
  • Assist with sales forecast preparation.
  • Provides customer service support to outside sales force.
  • Assist in business development initiatives as required.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate issues/potential issues immediately both internally and externally.
  • Work with operations to expedite customer orders.
  • Monitors and maintains monthly OTD report
  • Monitors and maintains weekly quotation summary report
  • Responsible for RMA processing
  • Track and monitor customer Kanban/safety stock levels

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience or Business related, and 2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. Hired employees are required to provide proof that they are a U.S. Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15.
  • This position requires use of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
