Because we have some of the most talented people in the world. # We are searching for a Coder II to perform a variety of duties both within and in support of the Health Information Services including accurate coding of all diagnoses and procedures in the established time frame, meeting established productivity standards, etc.# May be responsible for providing coding for Outpatient Lab and Radiology and at least one other type of records such as Inpatient, Same-day Surgery or ER.# Position will focus primarily on inpatient hospital coding.## # Hours: 40 hours Shift: Day Shift # Education and/or Experience Requirements: Equal to completion of one or two years of college or the equivalent knowledge and experience required. Coding certificate through an American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) accredited program is required. A minimum of three (3) years related work experience with CPT-4 and ICD-10 is required. Working Knowledge of 3M software. Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Apprentice (CCA) or Certified Professional Coder CPC is required. Overall knowledge of the Ambulatory Patient Classification including other related fields is preferred.
