Job Description Job Description A growing litigation platform is
seeking an experienced attorney to join its construction and design
focused litigation practice. This role supports sophisticated
matters involving construction projects, design professionals, and
related risk and liability issues. The position offers meaningful
responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to
work on complex matters from early case assessment through
resolution. Construction Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
Manage an active docket of construction and design related
litigation matters from inception through resolution Serve as a
primary point of contact for clients and insurance professionals
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert and fact witnesses
Work closely with retained experts and consultants throughout the
lifecycle of a case Handle written discovery, including drafting
and responding to requests and motions Draft pleadings, dispositive
motions, and opposition papers Prepare for and participate in
hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations Evaluate
liability, damages, and exposure and provide strategic
recommendations Assist with trial preparation and trial support as
needed Maintain accurate and timely timekeeping records
Construction Litigation Attorney Qualifications: 3 or more years of
litigation experience with a focus on construction, design
professionals, or related professional liability matters Juris
Doctor from an accredited law school Admission to practice in
Massachusetts required; admission in additional New England
jurisdictions is a plus Strong interest in construction projects
and design related disputes Ability to manage matters independently
while collaborating with a broader team Excellent legal research,
writing, and analytical skills Organized, efficient, and able to
manage multiple deadlines Comfortable handling complex factual and
technical issues
