Job Description:

Epec Engineered Technologies is currently looking for a Junior Web Developer who is eager to tackle the challenges of a fast pace work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hungry to learn new skills with the ability to think outside the box. This candidate will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the Marketing and IT Team to modify, maintain, and add new content to websites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the production, modification and maintenance of all company websites and their user interface.
• Strong understanding of HMTL/CSS mark-up languages.
• Firm knowledge of responsive website design techniques and frameworks including Foundation and/or Bootstrap.
• Ability to work with CMS (Content Management System) website builders.
• Ability to manipulate and/or write JavaScript and jQuery code.
• Capable to help with website redesigns and rebuilding current company websites.
• Work closely with Marketing Team to increase website content by adding new pages for articles, case studies, webinars, product information, etc.
• Provide support to marketing department as needed.
• Other job duties may be assigned.
  OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Stay up to date on new technologies associated with HTML/CSS standards.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attending online webinars, reading online article, and/or attending off site training to continually hone their skills.     • Associate degree or higher with course studies in Web Development related classes are preferred.
    • 1-2 years' experience in a website related position is preferred, but not required.

      • Ability to multi-task and meet project deadline.
      • Understanding of fundamental web development strategies and concepts.
      • Proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver and other web design programs.
      • Experience with Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat preferred.
      • Basic understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) concepts and principles.
      • Excellent multimedia content development abilities.
      • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
