Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior AI Programmer to join our team in the US / Canada to work on Cyberpunk 2, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. In this role, you will help develop believable worlds by creating systems and features that enable our designers to craft highly advanced AI behaviors.
Daily Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with designers and other developers to understand their needs and ensure they can create smart, efficient AI systems.
  
• Build and maintain core systems that define AI behavior in an open-world environment.
  
• Develop debugging and designer tools necessary for these systems.
  
• Write high-quality, optimized, bug-free code aligned with project goals.
  
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure tools effectively contribute to all game systems and components.
  
  Qualifications
  Required:
  

• 
  
• At least 7 years of professional experience as a programmer in the gaming industry.
  
• Strong proficiency in C++ and knowledge of Unreal Engine.
  
• Experience with current-generation console hardware.
  
• Solid understanding of geometric algorithms and data structures.
  
• Experience developing multi-threaded systems.
  
• Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine internals, especially Blackboards and Smart Objects.
  
• Good grasp of 3D mathematics.
  
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve technical challenges and innovate.
  
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  Nice to have:
  
  • 
    
  • Experience with Mass AI in Unreal 5.
    
  • Experience with ECS or Mass Framework.
    
  • Shipped at least one AAA title.
