Local Manufacturing company looking for a unique &--talented individual to join our Finance Team.-- This is a full-time position; Monday - Friday;--40 hours/week with great benefits.----* As part of the screening process, viable candidates must--submit to a Skills Level test for Microsoft Excel to meet the requirements of the position, and should score in the high range of--intermediate to--advanced level of proficiency--in MS Office--Excel (pivot tables and V-lookup).--The Accounting--& Reporting Associate is an integral part of the Finance Department performing diversified duties. The primary responsibilities will be assisting the Controller with month-end procedures, high-level reporting, and audits.----The Accounting--& Reporting Associate--is also responsible for processing payroll, high-level reporting, and data analysis.-- The qualified candidate excels in, Ad-Hoc reporting and is highly analytical and possess an advanced level of Microsoft Excel skills.-- The successful candidate is well organized,--has excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills is a team player and has the ability to multi-task.--Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately process bi-weekly payroll--in accordance with state and federal laws and in accordance with company pay regulations using ADP Workforce NowAccurately prepare and process monthly--commissionsPractice timely preparation of all payroll operations working closely with Human Resources to ensure that deductions, liens, and payroll actions are in conformance with employment benefits practices and accounting proceduresRespond to external agencies for pay data infoCompiles and files required reports for year-end close, year-end reporting, and processing of W-2sInteract and assist employees with questions and resolving discrepancies regarding payrollCoordinate annual payroll budget activities and processes, maintaining and tracking budget accounts, schedules, and reconciliationsAssist and Prepare Payroll Budgets / Forecasting and AuditsOversee Royalty ReportingUpdate financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when neededCreates, and provides high-level reports to CEO, Controller, Directors, HR & Management Analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunitiesDistribute Headcount Reporting monthly to ManagementCommunicate Payroll Results Reporting and Tracking to ManagementPrepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Ad hoc analysis reportingEducation & Requirments:
High school diploma required,--Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred1+ years of payroll experience requiredExperience with ADP Workforce Now preferredSkills/Qualifications:
Strong understanding of general accounting practices and proceduresAdvanced proficiency--in MS Office software, specifically Excel, pivot tables and V-lookupStrong understanding of payroll processing, with the strength in report writingStrong strategic, financial and analytical skillsStrong hands-on work ethicGreat Plains experience a plusKnowledge of other relevant computer software and systemsExcellent electronic communication and functional abilityExcellent organizational skillsMust possess initiative, energy, and driveExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentAbility to professionally interact with all levels of management and co-workersConfidentiality when dealing with employee and company financial information--
