Job Description:
Position Summary/ Department Summary: We are seeking a Surgical
Technologist to join the team within our Main Operating Room in
Boston. Key Responsibilities: - Providing sterile instruments to
surgical team during surgery. - Organizing and arranging sterile
instruments and supplies. - Collecting and removing contaminated
items at completion of cases. - Assisting circulating nurses in
maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies - Working
collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.
Minimum Qualifications Experience: - 1 year of Surgical
Technologist experience preferred. - Pediatric experience
preferred. Licensure/Certifications: - A certificate from a
Surgical Technologist program. - New Graduates are eligible,
provided that the certification is obtained within 12 months of
graduation. *Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time hires with over
1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not
worked here in the past 2 years).* LI-onsite The posted pay range
is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this
pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on
skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of
other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive
