Job Description:
Hebrew SeniorLife, a nationally recognized nonprofit
organization affiliated with Harvard Medical School and located in
Boston, MA, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our
team. This vital role focuses on enhancing the nutritional care and
wellbeing of seniors through personalized dietary planning and
management. At Hebrew SeniorLife, you will be part of a community
that profoundly impacts the health outcomes and quality of life for
our residents. This position requires a compassionate professional
with a deep understanding of geriatric nutritional needs and the
ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized
nutritional interventions. Conduct comprehensive nutritional
assessments and consultations for our senior residents. Develop
individualized nutritional plans that address specific health
conditions and dietary needs. Collaborate with healthcare providers
to integrate nutritional therapy into overall care plans. Educate
patients and families on healthy eating habits, dietary
modifications, and nutrition management. Monitor and document
patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed. Participate in
research initiatives and continuous education sessions to ensure
the practice of the latest nutrition science. Strong knowledge of
geriatric nutrition and dietetics. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team environment. Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail. Ability to educate and motivate others.
