Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist II to join a pain management center, requiring at least 1 year of X-ray experience and active MA licensure. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work is based in a pain management center setting - Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Responsibilities include diagnostic X-ray procedures for pain management patients - Patient population consists of individuals receiving pain management care - Utilizes Epic EMR for documentation; Epic experience is preferred - 13-week assignment - Responsible for delivering advanced quality patient care while performing radiologic imaging - Responsibilities include determining appropriate radiographic technique, preparing and positioning patients, and maintaining radiation safety - May assist with training radiology students and new technologists - Must maintain pertinent digital records and uphold patient privacy - Scrubs or dress code guidelines not specified - Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be eligible for standard travel rates; otherwise, a reduced rate applies - Parking may incur daily fees at some locations - Flu vaccination is required during flu season /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 1 year X-ray experience required - Active MA Radiology Technologist license required (no pending licenses accepted); license required if applicable - AHA certifications are required - Flu vaccination is mandatory with no religious or medical exemptions accepted - Two professional references required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-645842.
