Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the
Position OR Nurse Manager Lawrence, MA Orientation Dates: 10/28 or
11/10 CNOR Preferred Shift : 10a-8p 10hr days Looking for 2 years
experience as a Nurse Manager *If traveler is within 50miles from
facility, local rate will apply EMR : Meditech Duties of Manager:
Ensure optimal efficiency in daily flow throughout surgical
services Evaluate and assess the daily schedule and staffing plan
and to make adjustments to clinical assignments if necessary to
enhance the overall performance of the department and functioning
of the unit. Evaluate and respond to changes in the daily schedule
in real-time including add-on cases, late running cases, resource
allocation, and other situations as they present. Collaborate with
key stakeholders (anesthesia, surgeons, department chiefs) to
balance daily changes while maintaining departmental efficiency,
ensuring safe patient care and striving for optimal clinical
performance and outcomes. Need to be competent for on call for all
specialties: Must be strong in Ortho trauma Total joints (Hip,
Knee, Shoulder, Reverse Shoulders) What Scope system do they use?
Vascular (Fem Pop, AAA, AV fistula, Thrombectomies) GYN-
Hysteroscopy, ABD/Vaginal/Lap assisted Hysterectomy, Cystectomy
General-Lap find out if the candidate is comfortable running the
camera. Colorectal hemicolectomy, Hepatic resections? ENT (if no
eyes its ok to still approve) Peds t&a and tubes Urology;
Prostatectomy lap vs open, TURP, Stents, Cystos Bariatrics Spine
(neuro and ortho) Do they do Ant/Post spines if so which table?. No
cranies, yes burr hole, subdural hematoma, ). Trauma (No burns, yes
gunshot, stabbing, multibone trauma) No CV Facility starting
Thoracic but none on call so ok to approve if weak in thoracic
experience, please clarify in your notes. TB_HC ZR
