Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel ```htmlJob Opportunity – Progressive Care RN – Neuro Trauma – New Hampshire Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day or night shift available, 4:1 patient ratio, every other weekend Highlights: 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit with specialized patient population Work with advanced equipment including subdural drains, high flow oxygen, chronic vents, and end tidal CO2 monitoring EMR system: Meditech Collaborate with a team of 6–7 RNs and 2 nursing aides per shift Exposure to procedures including chest tube management and EEG monitoring Professional dress code with no specific scrub color requirement Requirements: Active New Hampshire RN license or compact eligibility Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Telemetry experience required Step-down or progressive care experience required Neuro and trauma experience strongly preferred NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred Willingness to float to all inpatient units including ICU and Emergency Department Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers a unique chance to work with a complex neuro-trauma patient population in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
