Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Lawrence Memorial Hospital Sleep Medicine - Medford, MALawrence Memorial Hospital Sleep Medicine is currently seeking a Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic, growing team in Medford, MA.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team specializing in the evaluation and management of a variety of sleep disorders. The Sleep NP will provide comprehensive care to patients in a clinic setting, working collaboratively with other physicians, specialists, and healthcare providers throughout the TuftsMedicine communities to deliver individualized treatment plans for optimal sleep health.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of patients presenting with sleep-related concerns, including but not limited to insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, parasomnias, and circadian rhythm disorders.
• Perform thorough physical exams and review patient medical histories to diagnose sleep disorders.
• Order diagnostic tests, including polysomnography, home sleep studies, and other relevant tests as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans, which may include pharmacological management, behavioral interventions, lifestyle recommendations, and sleep hygiene education.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families about sleep health, disorder management, and preventative measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as pulmonologists, ENT's, psychologists, and other specialists, to deliver comprehensive care
• Provide follow-up care and regular monitoring for patients with chronic or complex sleep disorders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in sleep medicine to provide evidence-based care, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the clinic.Who you are:
  • Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Clinical experience in Sleep Medicine is preferred. New graduates considered.
  • Current certification in CPR required.
