seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Medicine-Pediatrics
Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at our Dedham, MA,
location. This physician will play a crucial role in the medical
management of patients with eating disorders and co-occurring

today. Responsibilities Include::
- Provide comprehensive medical evaluations, treatment, and
ongoing management for patients receiving eating disorder treatment
at Walden Behavioral Care. -
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners,
therapists, dietitians, and nursing staff to ensure holistic,
integrated patient care. -
- Monitor and manage medical complications related to eating
disorders, including but not limited to electrolyte imbalances,
malnutrition, and refeeding syndrome. -
- Conduct routine medical assessments and follow-ups, including
laboratory review and medication management. -
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute
to individualized treatment planning. -
- Educate patients and families on medical aspects of eating
disorders, treatment options, and recovery strategies. -
- Support transitions of care, including discharge planning and
coordination with outpatient providers. -
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with
regulatory and accreditation standards. - Qualifications::
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. -
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine,
Internal Medicine or Medicine and Pediatrics (both). -
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of
Massachusetts (or ability to obtain). -
- Experience in behavioral health, eating disorder treatment, or
hospital-based medicine is preferred but not required. -
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to
manage medically complex patients. -
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a
