• Hours: 40hrs
• Shift: Day shift; 8:00am-5:30pm
• Location: Primary Care - Wareham, MA
• Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required
  We are searching for an LPN- Float Pool to perform a variety of duties involving direct patient care, such as medication administration, patient and family teaching, rooming, and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and within the scope of practical nursing. Facilitate efficient flow of patients through the clinic or medical office. May be responsible for telephone communication with patients including communication of test results, surgery schedules, procedures and providing appropriate counsel and follow-up under the direction of a designated supervisor. Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other related software to update or access patient information as appropriate. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Position requires nurse to travel to SPG Primary Care sites where there may be a staffing shortage, ensuring patient care is delivered safely and appropriately.
  
  Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable
  • Six months or more experience in related setting preferred.
  • Must apply for RI nursing license by start date.
