The position will be located in Mumbai / Vapi - Gujarat, Indiawww.Micro-crispr.Com & www.Merillife.ComWe are in the field of Cutting-Edge genome-editing and cell-based therapies with major focus in the four following technology platforms: CRISPR, CAR, mRNA and AAV gene therapy.*Vacancy: General Manager / Principal / Senior - Scientist Position: 3 No's** Personalized CAR T & Universal CAR T cell Products for Liquid and Solid tumors.* Therapeutic CRISPR-based genome editing (Cell & Gene Therapy) for genetic and metabolic disorders* Xenotransplantation by CRISPR-based methods.* AAV and lentiviral vector-based therapeutic products* Lipid nano particle-based therapeutic gene delivery* mRNA therapeuticsWe are seeking to hire a highly energetic and collaborative, General Manager / Senior Scientist to join our Cell & Gene Therapy research and development team.Key Responsibilities (you need not have all):* Lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists experienced in a range of disciplines, from formulation, process development, designing & implementation on the technology platform(s) like CRISPR, CAR and mRNA.* To monitor 2D/3D Cell culture and pre-clinical animal expertise for assessment of various cells and gene therapy products.* Molecular cloning and genome editing with special emphasis on vector design, recombinant protein development and CRISPR-Cas screening and validation methods.* Be a Subject Matter Expert for the development and qualification/validation of assays for Cell Therapy with focus on quantitative methods using a variety of molecular biology, flow cytometry and column chromatography technologies* Assist in Performing testing of raw material, starting material, process intermediates and final cell & gene therapy products such as CAR-T cells* Assist in Developing and running tests to support mRNA, cell & gene therapy process development* Responsible for method development, qualification, validation and transfer of new and existing scientific analytical methodsQualificationsRequired* Ph.D. with a minimum 7 + years of Experience in Cell & Gene Therapy /biotech industry/post-doctoral experience, OR a Master's degree with a minimum 10 to 20 years of experience.* Experience executing molecular biology techniques.* Ability to troubleshoot experiments; analyse, report and present data.* Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams in a complex, matrix environment is essential.Preferred:* Ph.D or Degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or related scientific field preferred.* Experience with mRNA, CAR T or other cell and gene therapy products.* Expertise in genome engineering techniques like CRISPR-Cas/TALENS* Expertise in Next-generation and single cell Sequencing as well as bioinformatics*Relocation Benefits would be provided like One time relocation bonus pay, Relocation charges to India & Assist in accommodationat India *Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Health insurance* Paid time off* Relocation assistanceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:* Bonus pay* Signing bonusApplication Question(s):* Will you be able to reliably relocate to India?Work Location: One location*Speak with the employer*+91 +919824173788
