Laurel Ridge Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is a family owned and operated skilled nursing home facility. We are newly remolded, and highly rated by DPH/CMS. Our last survey was DEFICIENCY-FREE. Laurel Ridge is a 120-bed SNF, specializing in sub-acute, LT, and A/D care.This is an excellent opportunity to join an experience team of dedicated professionals. CIGNA insurance, Paid Time Off), excellent working conditions, annual increases, generous staffing patterns, and supportive supervision.We are seeking an experienced 7A-7P Every other weekend supervisor with strong assessment and customer service skills.*RN Supervisor Qualifications* :* Holds and maintains current License or Registration in accordance with State Regulations.* 2+ years' Long Term/Geriatric/Rehabilitation education or care experience preferred.* Acute hospital medical/surgical experience desirable.* Knowledge of nursing theory and practice including the administration of medications.* Holds and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with Nursing Standards of Practice.* Supervisor/Management experience of licensed nursing staff/nursing assistants* Experience with admissions/assessment process*RN Supervisor Specific requirements: ** Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.* Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients/residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.* Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.* Must be willing to work harmoniously with professionals and non-professional personnel.* Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult patients/residents.* Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practicesThank you and we look forward to discussing this opportunity with you!Job Type: Part-timePay: Up to $40.00 per hourMedical specialties:* GeriatricsSchedule:* 12 hour shiftWork setting:* Long term careEducation:* Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:* Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Preferred)* RN (Preferred)Work Location: One location
