injustice.About Early Intervention: Meeting Street's Early
Intervention Program supports children and families in Southeastern
Massachusetts, throughout the Greater New Bedford Region. We
provide a range of home-based services to children aged birth to
three years old with developmental disabilities or delays, giving
them and their families individualized support and resources to
enhance their development and learning. Our mission is to ensure
that children are provided with every opportunity to develop to
their fullest potential.In this role, you will: Assess the
functional capabilities of children ages 0-3 relative to their
age-appropriate milestones for potential developmental delays or
developmental risk factorsServe as the case manager or consulting
therapist for a caseload of families with a wide range of racial
backgrounds, cultures, religions, socioeconomic status, sexual
orientation, gender identity and abilities with understanding of
how their life experiences may be impacted by social
determinantsCollaborate with the family to develop goals to address
the childs development that fit into their daily routines and
playDeliver therapy in an approachable and comfortable way as a
guest in our clients homes, translating your clinical knowledge
into every-day languageContinuously assess the progress of your
clients and collaboratively adjust the plan as neededProvide
support to families with daily challenges, and connect them with
resources within or outside of our program as needed to support
their childs development or immediate needsConsult and partner with
a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Developmental
Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Nurses
and Social WorkersYour Skills: You have knowledge of early
childhood appropriate developmental milestonesYou are a strong
relationship builder who is able to gain rapport with young
children and families alike, always considering them a partner and
communicating with them in an approachable, respectful, and
non-judgmental wayYou can independently problem-solve and are
flexible in adapting to address immediate needs or to adjust
longer-term goals as appropriateYou are able to prioritize needs on
a daily and long-term basis to best serve your clients in the
moment, while meeting program-designated deadlinesYou have strong
time management skills in managing your own calendar and scheduling
appointments directly with your clientsYou are also a team player
who seeks the consultation of your multi-disciplinary colleagues
when you have a hunch that something may be beyond your
