Because we have some of the most talented people in the world.We are searching for a Registered Nurse II-Enterostomal--who will identify and provide care for the patient with an ostomy and/or acute skin problem in all settings.-- Serve as a consultant in the care of patients with complex draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers and skin problems related to fecal and urinary incontinence and all types of ostomies.-- Collaborate with patients/families and health care providers in achieving optimal patient outcomes.-- Identify the learning needs of staff, patients and families in relation to the care of ostomies, wounds, pressure ulcers or other skin problems and participate in designing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive teaching programs.Hours: 28 hours (part time)Shift: Day Shift, 7:30am-4:00pm-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --Education and/or Experience Requirements:A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.Three (3) years related work experience required.Wound Ostomy Certified Nurse requiredSouthcoast Health is a community based health delivery system with multiple access points, offering an integrated continuum of health services throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
