OBSTETRICS # GYNECOLOGY Exceptionally located on the southeastern coastline of Massachusetts # Southcoast Physicians Group is seeking an Obstetrician to join its OB/GYN practice in New Bedford, MA # St. Luke#s Hospital. The practice consists of 3 full-time physicians, 2 Certified Nurse Midwifes, 1 Nurse Practitioner and 3 Laborists.# This position will be part of a dynamic group who practice evidenced based medicine with a strong commitment to the community.# The newly renovated Family Centered Unit at St. Luke#s Hospital is a state-of-the-art maternity unit that offers the latest in maternity care. # Physician group with reputation for quality and community commitment # Board certified / board eligible in Obstetrics # Gynecology # 20 well baby bassinets and an 8-bassinet Level II Nursery # State-of-the-art Level II nursery staffed by Boston Children#s Hospital physicians # St. Luke#s has approximately 1,400 deliveries per year # 1- 3 years experience preferred # MD or DO with completion of US residency required # Excellent compensation and benefits package Southcoast Health is one of the largest and fastest growing health systems in New England.# Since its inception in 1996, Southcoast has become a sought-after destination for health care professionals.
