Job Description:Position Description:Leads initiatives to develop the internal and external business strategy of a newly launched reinsurer, and scales enterprise operations such as technology development, IT operations, operational risk and controls, claim administration, reporting systems, legal, and regulatory processes. Synthesizes strategic, financial, actuarial, investment, and operational analyses into insights and recommendations to inform long-term strategies. Develops business cases to evaluate investment viability and feasibility, including launching various asset classes, and assesses key financial metrics like capital requirements, stress and scenario analyses, revenue expectations, and IRR implications.Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops complex reinsurance economic and analytical models.
• Challenging assumptions and inputs from actuarial, investment, risk, and finance teams.
• Prepares and communicates strategic updates to stakeholders, including board materials and press releases.
• Presents enterprise information clearly to leadership, regulators, and board members.
• Sets strategic priorities for scaling the reinsurance company.
• Builds cross-functional partnerships within the company and with external vendors.
• Creates detailed implementation roadmaps with deliverables, timelines, resources, KPIs, and group interactions.
• Analyzes market dynamics, competitors, and growth opportunities.
• Develops operational processes and internal procedures.
• Manages multiple enterprise-wide projects.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience, in strategy and operations, project management, operational analysis, and executive presentations.Skills and Knowledge:

• Expertise in developing actuarial models for annuity businesses, integrating liability, asset, and expense assumptions, and optimizing models for strategic growth and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in strategic consulting for asset management and insurance, managing Board meetings, and analyzing complex data for competitive insights.
• Proven ability in innovation, strategy development, product team management, and vendor oversight.
• Experience in training, mentoring, and managing teams across multiple regions, including performance evaluation and recruitment.#PE1M2#LI-DNICertifications & Category:Business StrategyFidelity's hybrid working model combines onsite and offsite work, with onsite presence required every other week in a Fidelity office.
