It consists of four functions: Creative Operations, Digital Content, Digital Design, and Copy, working together to create content that exemplifies our Brand Mission, Values, and Purpose (our MVP). We develop storytelling for our digital channels, supporting our digital direct commerce & wholesale ecosystem, including Converse.com, B2B site, email campaigns, paid social, and more. Your role will focus on the Copy and Design functions, contributing to brand stories, seasonal campaigns, and custom content like "Converse By You" across global digital channels.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe seek a Manager for the Copy function - a collaborative leader experienced in guiding a team of writers to craft compelling storytelling and effective copy. You will be responsible for maintaining the Converse brand voice across digital platforms, including product and feature/benefit copy for sell-in, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer channels.This candidate should have a passion for the brand, a commitment to high-quality work, and qualities such as being driven, strategic, critical thinker, accountable, empathetic, resourceful, proactive, and possessing excellent interpersonal skills.Strong relationships with your immediate team (Operations & Production, Design, Copywriting, Content Creation) and cross-functional partners (North America & Western Europe e-commerce teams, Brand Creative, Global Experience Strategy, Global Brand teams) are essential.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONReporting to the Director, Global Digital Design and Copy, you will lead a team focused on executing global and regional e-commerce needs, including converse.com experiences and performance marketing (email, SMS, paid media).You will manage a team of Senior and Junior Copywriters, both full-time and freelance. Your team will align with strategy teams to understand and execute briefs, aiming to anticipate needs and provide solutions to grow and drive business across Geo & Global e-commerce.

  • Communicate clearly and pitch work effectively to internal teams and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Experience Strategists to deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Balance creative excellence with relevant business objectives, willing to take calculated risks.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHAs Manager of Global Digital Copy, you will collaborate with Copywriters, Designers, Operations Managers, UX, and Experience Strategists, partnering with regional and digital teams to support Converse's business goals. This role reports to the Director, Global Digital Design and Copy.WHAT YOU WILL BRING
    • Bachelor's degree in Writing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in digital copywriting, preferably in retail e-commerce or digital agencies within the streetwear, footwear, or apparel industry.
    • Management experience leading at least 3 people.
    • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Suite.
    • Excellent command of English (spelling, grammar, punctuation).
    • Passion for digital creative, with strong knowledge of digital commerce, performance marketing, A/B testing, targeting diverse audiences, and social media platforms.
    • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
    • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Trello.
    • Deep connection to streetwear culture and trends.
    • Knowledge of current digital content and design trends for e-commerce.
    • A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating your writing experience.
    • Creative, bold, and digitally savvy mindset.
