Working under the direction of the Training Engineer - Senor
Team Lead 3, will be responsible for designing, developing, and
delivering strategically-aligned learning and development programs for
The MathWorks technology teams; analyzing and identifying learning
needs within the engineering specialty through partnerships with
relevant staff; designing, curating, developing, and implementing
learning solutions related to MATLAB, Simulink and other technical
related topics ensuring that technical training programs align with business
priorities and initiatives; creating self-serve learning resources,
blended learning solutions, instructor-led, and eLearning offerings;
coaching and consulting on curriculum/training design and development;
building long-term business relationships with various groups within
the organization; identifying internal experts whose knowledge and
skill can be leveraged by others; collaborating with subject matter
experts to find ways to share their technology expertise effectively;
teaching and facilitating formal classes, informal groups, and events as
required, specifically in the areas of MATLAB, Simulink, Signal Processing
and Communications, to technical field organizations; identifying
gaps in sufficient intra-company expertise and selecting and
collaborating with external vendors; measuring and documenting the transfer of
knowledge and associated impact via key performance indicators and
Kirkpatrick evaluation models; and presenting current state, strategies
for enhancing learning transfer and impact, and recommending next
steps. Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent)
in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in job offered
or five (5) years of experience in technical training or support for
Signal Processing and Control System Design technologies. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise writing algorithms in MATLAB and
Simulink for Signal Processing and Control System Design. • Demonstrated expertise developing Software Defined Radio communication systems, including implementing Model Based
Design workflows and performing Production Code Generation, using
embedded systems and FPGAs software, as well as using Xilinx
hardware. • Demonstrated expertise providing technical training or
support, including content development for instructional materials and
system simulations for Signal Processing, Communication, and Control
System Design technologies. • Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, Simulink, C++,
