Job Description:

technologies, we are seeking a skilled Regulatory Engineer to join
our dynamic Engineering & Architecture team. This role is crucial
for ensuring our fire protection products not only meet but exceed
the rigorous safety standards and regulations required globally. As
a Regulatory Engineer at Johnson Controls, you will be instrumental
in navigating the complex landscape of international compliance and
helping to maintain our reputation for delivering top-tier,
sustainable, and secure building solutions. Analyze and interpret
global compliance and regulatory requirements for fire protection
systems. Work closely with product development teams to integrate
regulatory requirements early in the design process. Prepare and
maintain documentation for product certification and approval
submissions. Conduct and oversee testing of products to ensure
compliance with relevant standards. Coordinate with global
regulatory bodies and certification agencies to expedite product
approvals. Stay updated on changes to regulations and industry
standards that affect the company's products. Advise internal teams
on regulatory strategies and risk assessments. Maintain
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing
personal networks. Knowledge of international standards and
regulations pertaining to fire protection and safety products, such
as NFPA, UL, EN, and ISO. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills. Ability to communicate complex regulatory matters
effectively across multiple departments. Proficient in compliance
management software and tools. Strong attention to detail and the
ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certification in Regulatory Affairs (RAC) preferred. Professional
Engineer (PE) license or similar is a plus.
