Job Description:
Our client, a leader in thermic comfort and energy efficiencies,
is seeking a Lab Engineer in their New Bedford, MA location. You'll
drive the completion of test plans, ensuring that design parameters
align with performance, safety, quality, and reliability
benchmarks. Additionally, you'll test components and appliances
against water heater and boiler standards, enhancing safety and
efficiency across offerings.
Job Title: Lab Engineer
Location: New Bedford, MA
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
About the Role:
Contribute to research and development in the Mechanical or
Electronic Engineering field within a dynamic R&D or Laboratory
setting.
Conceptualize, design, and test innovative solutions, particularly
within the HVAC sector or heat pump goods business.
Employ your technical expertise and aptitude for experimentation to
operate measurement and test tools effectively, ensuring accurate
data collection and analysis.
Conduct experiments, gather data, and generate insights that drive
the advancement of automotive or white goods technologies.
Requirements:
Mechanical or Electronic Engineering degree with 1-2 years of
hands-on experience in R&D or laboratory in automotive or white
goods sector, preferably in HVAC sector or heat pump goods
business.
Alternatively, hold a high school diploma with a previous
experience of at least 5 years in R&D or laboratory work within
the automotive or white goods industry, preferably in HVAC sector
or heat pump goods business.
Showcase a natural inclination for experimentation, adeptness with
measurement and test tools, and proficiency in MS Office tools.
Exhibit flexibility and a willingness to travel across the US area
to engage in project-related activities.
Familiarity with Matlab, Labview, and other parametric simulation
tools is a plus.
