Key Responsibilities: Facilitate clear and accurate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and hearing individuals in educational settings. Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classes, meetings, and school events. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Adapt to various classroom settings and grade levels, providing consistent and effective interpretation services. Qualifications and Experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language with certification or equivalent credentials preferred. Experience interpreting in educational settings is highly desired.
