Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time special education teacher position is
available for the current school year, supporting students from
PreK through 4th grade. This contract role is immediately open and
continues through the end of the school year, offering a rewarding
opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dedicated
educational environment in Meriden, CT. Key Responsibilities: -
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
tailored to meet the needs of students with diverse learning
abilities. - Collaborate with general education teachers,
specialists, and families to support student growth and success. -
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to promote academic
and social development. - Conduct ongoing assessments to track
student progress and adjust teaching approaches accordingly. -
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state special
education guidelines. Qualifications: - Valid Connecticut Special
Education teaching license (CT SPED) is required. - Experience
working with early childhood and elementary aged students (PreK-4)
in special education settings. - Strong communication and
collaboration skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams. -
Ability to design and deliver differentiated instruction to meet
