Nursery Associate POSITION SUMMARY Egan Landscape Group offers

Nursery Associate is a key member of our wholesale nursery team,
responsible for plant care, material handling, and customer support
at Egan Wholesale Group. Based in Plymouth, Massachusetts, this
full-time role involves daily hands-on activities such as watering,
pruning, organizing plant materials, and assisting with customer
orders. The Nursery Associate will operate under the guidance of
the Nursery Manager, ensuring efficient operations, safe equipment
use, and exceptional service for landscape professionals. This
position requires experience with plant care and operating heavy
equipment, such as skid steers, wheel loaders, and mini skid
steers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic,
attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in varying

OBJECTIVES Maintain the health and quality of plants by
implementing proper watering, pruning, and fertilization
techniques. Efficiently and safely operate skid steers, wheel
loaders, and mini skid steers to assist with unloading, organizing,
and transporting plant materials. Assist customers with plant
selection, order preparation, and loading to ensure a smooth and
professional experience. Conduct regular inventory checks,
restocking plants and maintaining nursery displays for optimal
presentation and organization. Ensure the nursery remains clean,
safe, and well-maintained by regularly removing debris, monitoring
plant conditions, and organizing materials. Work collaboratively
with team members to improve efficiency and maintain a positive
working environment. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
when operating equipment and handling nursery materials.
COMPETENCIES A strong interest in learning plant care, species
identification, and horticultural practices. Ability to operate
heavy equipment, such as skid steers, wheel loaders, and mini skid
steers (or ability to learn). Physical stamina and ability to lift,
carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly. Attention to
detail to maintain plant health and organization within the
nursery. Understanding of safety protocols for equipment operation
and nursery maintenance. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to
work collaboratively and communicate effectively. Customer service
skills to assist wholesale clients professionally and efficiently.
Adaptability to handle changing tasks, work environments, and

operating skid steers, wheel loaders, and mini skid steers.
Previous experience in a nursery, garden center, or similar outdoor
work environment is highly preferred. A valid drivers license is a
plus but not required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The Nursery Associate
role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and
performing physically demanding tasks. This includes frequent
lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended
periods. The position involves operating heavy machinery and
handling large plant materials. Candidates must be capable of
lifting up to 50 pounds and sustaining a high level of physical
