Job Description:
At Waste Management, Inc. (WM), a leader in environmental and
waste services, we are seeking a Sr. Plant Maintenance Manager to
oversee operations within our manufacturing facilities focused on
waste processing and renewable energy generation. This role
involves comprehensive management of the plant's maintenance
operations to ensure optimal performance, compliance with
environmental regulations, safety standards, and effective cost
management. The candidate will lead a team dedicated to maintaining
mechanical and electrical systems, machinery upkeep, and
implementing innovative solutions to enhance plant efficiency and
sustainability. Manage daily operations of plant maintenance to
ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve plant
reliability and performance. Oversee a team of maintenance
engineers and technicians, providing leadership and technical
expertise. Coordinate with other departments to optimize
maintenance schedules and reduce downtime. Manage budgets, control
maintenance costs and provide reports on departmental performances.
Ensure all maintenance activities align with the company’s goals
towards sustainability and environmental stewardship. Stay updated
with the latest advancements in plant technologies and maintenance
practices. Strong leadership and managerial skills Expertise in
mechanical and electrical systems Proficiency in maintenance
management systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance
Ability to manage budgets and control costs efficiently Good
