Job Description:
Year Up is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator for our
Business Foundations JOB Training Program, where we strive to
bridge the gap for young adults between academic accomplishment and
career success. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in
crafting and overseeing an intensive training curriculum designed
to equip participants with essential business and communication
skills. By integrating educational elements with practical
internship opportunities, this role ensures that every attendee
emerges ready to make an impactful entry into the business world.
Develop and refine curriculum for the Business Foundations program
in collaboration with educational experts. Facilitate daily
operations of the program, including scheduling classes,
coordinating with instructors, and overseeing the logistical
aspects of internships. Monitor the progress of participants and
provide feedback and support to ensure success. Liaise with
business partners to secure internship placements and build
mutually beneficial relationships. Conduct regular assessments to
evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the training program.
Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enhance the
learning experiences. Provide career counseling and guidance to
participants as they transition from the program into the
workforce. Strong organizational and project management abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to
develop educational content and facilitate learning Proficient in
using educational technology and e-learning platforms Ability to
work collaboratively with a diverse team and client base
Certification in Educational Technology or Training Management
preferable Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a
plus.
