Because we have some of the most talented people in the world!We are searching for a Patient Accounts Financial Representative to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: Being able to provide Customer Service techniques and strong communication skills. Handle a high volume of incoming and outbound calls. Being able to provide clarification and come to a quick resolution for our patients. Follow the Credit & Collection Policy, being able to review accounts prior to referring to the collection agency. Have billing knowledge to obtain insurance information, understand how to interpret an explanation of benefits and evaluate the accounts for billing & coding inaccuracies. This includes SHG, SPG and VNA dual processes. Follow Confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Timely follow up on accounts, which may include billing and coding requests. Being able to work independently, resolves routine issues and refer accounts when necessary. Review and work variety of correspondence timely. Being able to ask patients for collections, setting up secure online payment processing and payment plans. Ensure all questions, disputes and concerns are processed and communicated to the appropriate parties, which may include both verbally and in writing in a timely manner.

  Education and/or Experience Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • Strong background in medical customer service work is required.
  • Experience in billing is preferred and medical terminology is required.
  • Prior collection experience is preferred.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills.
  • Required to have the ability to deal with the public in a professional manner.
  • Three years of the above relevant work experience required.
